Do you need Renewal? The answer is, "Yes, we all do!"
Not many of us come through life unscathed. That's not to say that we are hopelessly broken.
However, the journey of our lives sometimes takes us through rough patches, through hurts and wounds, through rejections, and sometimes these events can leave us with confusion, unwanted thought patterns and what we call 'deep-level wounds'.
Many in the Church have worked under the delusion that simply coming to Jesus brings healing. When we come to Jesus, we are taught, "the old is gone, the new has come" (2 Corinthians 5:17). According to Dr. Charles Kraft in his book "Deep Wounds, Deep Healing", "… Healing is a step beyond salvation for many (probably most) Christians. Salvation is the necessary first step. But beyond that and built upon it is a second step – the healing step."
Inner or deep-level healing is a ministry that specialises in freeing people from the emotional and spiritual "baggage" we accumulate as we go through life. It frees people to be what Jesus intended us to be, and it frees the Church to be what it is supposed to be as well.
The Church is intended to be a place of healing, serving the Kingdom of God by healing people spiritually, emotionally and physically – just like Jesus did.
Luke 4:18-18
Jesus starts his ministry by walking into a synagogue and saying this:
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, 'You are set free!' I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for a time of God's great acceptance has begun." - The Passion Translation

WHAT DOES A RENEW MINISTRY SESSION LOOK LIKE?
Each ministry session is facilitated by a well trained RENEW ministry team. It is, to the best of our ability, Holy Spirit inspired and directed. It is a gentle and empowering process focused on facilitating an encounter with God.
It involves facing life's wounds and hurts, moving forward in forgiveness, receiving powerful anointed prayer and hearing what God (the Father, Jesus & the Holy Spirit) thinks about you.
All these steps are part of the healing process. There is absolutely no judgement or condemnation but you are given an opportunity to 'deal' with issues instead of avoiding or burying them. The freedom that comes is powerful and joy giving!
